Gather Ministries

We are a Non-Profit 501c3. We are a non-denominational Christian Jesus Christ following group. Our primary focus is Discipleship. In this broken world we need to disciple people by loving on them as Jesus loves us. We believe that to reach the lost we first need to show the love of Christ in all areas.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to have a new testimony that we can share each day. When people meet us, they should see that we are different. We will be transparent and open and allow people into our world. They will see the things we struggle with so that they will know as a believer in Jesus Christ. It is ok to be dysfunctional. God calls the dysfunctional to build his kingdom. Do my actions today represent God in a good or bad way?

What We Believe

We believe in one eternally existent, infinite God, Sovereign Creator and Sustainer of the universe; He is the only God. He is holy in nature, attributes, and purpose. He is an essential being, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus Christ. He became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary.
We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and that He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.
We believe in the Holy Spirit.
We believe in theĀ  Holy Scriptures (Bible), by which we understand there areĀ  66 books of the Old and New Testaments.
We believe that sin was always present in the world, even before Adam and Eve. We believe there are two types of sin. The sin of disobedience, not doing what God tells us, and human sin.
Jesus Christ, by dying on the cross and shedding his blood for all of us, made the full atonement for all human sin.
We believe that God provides us ALL with grace. This grace allows us to turn from sin to righteousness. Jesus died to pardon and clean us from all sin.
We believe that all persons may fall from grace and be hopelessly and eternally lost unless they repent of their sins.
We believe that Christian baptism, commanded by our Lord, is required. The baptism shows we accept the benefits of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins.
